Remember the days where you took a picture and you couldn't see what it looked like until it developed? I miss those days. It's made me think about how the images around us can affect our mood. I can take 10 pictures I like but it only takes one bad photo to make me feel bad about myself. It's for this reason I don't love looking at pictures right after I've taken them.

Last night Ben and I had a date night. I loved the outfit I was wearing and even curled my hair and put on makeup. Since I was all done up I decided to ask him to take some pics of me. Well, this was the best one out of the batch. The. Best. One.

This didn't make me feel the best. But it also made me realize this truth about myself: I am more likely to believe a bad picture or reflection over all the good ones. Why is that? Why do I allow the negative to overpower the potential truth in the positive?

Here's the place I want to rest, no matter if its a good picture or bad picture it doesn't change the experience. And last night the experience was so fun. I love a night away from kids with this man who is fun, supportive and willing to do it all with me.
