  1. American Dirt: For the Action/Drama reader. This novel is the story of a mother and son who are forced to leave Mexico, following their journey immigrating to America. A quick and compelling read. I could not put this book down.

  2. Still Life: For the Mystery lover. The first book in a series by Penny, this mystery takes place in a small Canadian town called Three Pines. A perfect gift for those who enjoy Agatha Christie.

  3. Peace Like a River: For the reader who appreciates poetic narrative. I read this book over ten years ago and still think of its lovely language in the telling of this story.

  4. The Midnight Library: For a feel good read. This one is on my Christmas list this year!

  5. Homegoing: An insightful and honest look at the black experience. This novel spans decades of one family’s lineage. Following the paths of two half-sisters—one brought to America as a slave, the other left in Africa—and the story of the familial generations that follow in each country. An honest look at the black experience. Beautiful and heart-wrenching.

  6. Missional Motherhood: For the Mom in your life. A look at the purpose given to each of us mothers. Encouragement to the weary and worried Mom.

  7. Come & Eat: For the Hostess. McKoy’s perspective of building community around the table encourages even the most reluctant home entertainer. This hope driven book offers a guide to gathering—including both recipes and questions for the table.

  8. Beyond the Castle: Disney meets Self-Development. In Dreyer’s debut novel she lends her thirty plus years of Disney expertise to reveal light hearted, behind the scenes, Disney trivia as well as sage life lessons. A sure hit for the Disney lover.

  9. Always Enough Never Too Much: 100 day Devotional. This lovely collaborative work between Connolly and Morgan offers relief to the fears that drive us to try to do more as well as the attempt to simultaneously take up less space. We are reminds in this devotional that there is exactly enough of us in God’s perfect design.

  10. Start Where You Are: For the creative. A journal with self-reflection writing prompts.

  11. The Honest Enneagram: For the Inquisitor. Most of us have had some exposure to the world of enneagram by now. Lovely on the outside and inside, this book offers a deeper dive into the world of enneagram but doesn’t feel overwhelming to read. It extends a come and go attitude to its reader. A perfect coffee table conversation starter.

  12. 2021 Calendar: An organizational must. I use this calendar for everything. It provides both monthly and weekly calendars. I’ve used it as a prayer journal, work planner, exercise tracker … you get the idea.

  13. Q & A a Day for Kids: For families. Spanning three years this daily question prompt offers a lovely insight into your children over the years.

  14. Shortcut: My children’s favorite book. We originally found this compelling story in a little free library in Michigan. Simple and exciting. A sure classic for your family.

  15. Rosie Revere Engineer: Children ages three to eight. Proof we all can do great things.
