With the exception of a few days this past week, here in Southern California fall has not made herself known. At least not in temperature. And though the weather is like this most years, this year it feels exceptionally egregious. Truthfully, I’m walking the line of excitement and disappointment this fall season. 

How are you doing? I hope I’m not assuming too much when I say, it probably hasn’t been the year you wished for either. 

Knowing there is so much I can’t control, I committed to entering this holiday season with intention. There is sure to be loss ahead. Loss of tradition. Loss of excitement. Loss of control. But that doesn’t mean we are powerless. 

With this in mind I wrote a five day Holiday Devotional. I offer it to you as a chance to reflect on the things we can look forward to this season. The things we can choose to enjoy.
