Welcome to my blog. I'm so excited to share with you my latest finds and feels.

I’ve had 4 “career” changes and many more ”passion pursuits” in my 37 years. I was never a person who knew what I wanted to be when I grew up. I’ve always been a struggling creative, although I haven’t always known this. Before I spoke at a women’s retreat several weekends ago, my Mom introduced me. She told the women that I was her hero (a big word to fill). She showed me an outside perspective on the road I’ve travelled.

It was overwhelming. To have someone summarize choices you have made and to look at it through a lens of grace was empowering and tender. I have always felt a bit like a wanderer. I have continued to search for my “place” in the adult world and I struggle with it. I have yet to find a profession that feels like I am where I belong, rather than acting a part.

Some would look at my path (Advertising, Costuming, PA, Mother, Fitness Instructor, dare I say- Writer) as flighty. But my mother has looked at it as brave. I don’t usually feel brave. Allowing someone else to breathe their view into your life can give you a new perspective that may be the illumination you need.
